2010 Response
I fully support the right for
parents/guardians to home or charter educate their
children.
It is important that Idaho uphold a parents’ right to
provide their children with a quality education.
It’s important that we verify all
children in Idaho to receive a home, private, charter or
public education.
I
oppose “one
stop standardized tests”. I do support “periodic
assessments”.
At this time, Idaho should not limit home
or charter school numbers. However, we have an
obligation to provide a quality public education to
children that are not fortunate enough to receive a home
or charter education.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Boggess

However, we must make sure those students that do not
have the opportunity for home, private, or charter
education are not underprivileged. State funds must not
be reduced or diverted from public intuitions.
Education
is essential for self-sufficiency. A higher education
often leads to a higher quality of life. If we want our
children to be competitive and self-sufficient, we have
to supply them with the tools and skills needed. |
